Suites

We have 15 kennel suites at The Canine Ranch. That means that we are small enough to give personalized attention to each dog.

Our dog boarding suites are located along the back of our 4300sf Training Center. They are all side by side and are approximately 4 feet deep. They vary in size from left to right, but all range from 4 to 6 feet wide. There is a slider door that we can open in nice weather, and this increases the run to 12 feet. The kennel suites back onto a grove of trees and the creek that comes from the pond located on the north side of the property. It’s a private and serene setting with lots of birds and butterflies. There is shade cloth and protective toppers on the outdoor kennels, although the back section of the building is in shade most of the day.

The interior of our Training Center and Kennel is climate controlled with both a/c and heat. We have two units that cool and heat the building so that we can control the large training area separately from the kennel.

Our floors have a special epoxy base both indoor and out that we keep squeaky clean by sanitizing daily.

All dogs go out for 3 potty breaks per day (early morning, mid-day, and mid-evening). Because we do our last potty break after our group classes, we keep our boarding dogs on a schedule that closely mimics their home environment. Group friendly dogs go out together, and solo dogs go out on their own. Potty breaks are not considered play time, because solo dogs are waiting their turn as well, but Exercise Plans are available ‘a la carte’ should your dog require more frequent turn-outs.

All dogs are required to be up to date on their vaccinations, which include DHPP, Rabies and Bordetella. USDAA requires we keep vaccinations up to date for boarding clients within ONE year. Your vet may recommend Bordetella (Kennel Cough) every 6 months.

Our staff are professional dog trainers who teach and work in the kennel, so our boarding clients get the added benefit of having mature, professional staff who know and understand dog behavior. This aids in determining which dogs to let out, when a dog needs special attention, or how to administer medicines effectively.
