Tracking

Tracking is a highly recognised sport based on your dog's ability to follow the scent of where a particular human has walked. As you progress in training, your dog will learn to alert you to items that the person has dropped. Competitions for this sport mimic the work of dogs who may need to track down criminals or locate a missing person following a scent trail. Following this scent map through so many distracting outdoor odors takes a lot of mental energy, so don't be surprised if your dog goes home tired after this class. The AKC (along with many other venues) now offers many titles and trials for this sport.

Group Classes

Our group classes for Tracking are unique in that we offer a 6 week class with no more than 6 students per class.  We believe that our students enjoy a more comfortable and fun social atmosphere and retain more in smaller groups.

Private and Semi-Private Lessons

Private and semi-private lessons can be scheduled during weekdays, weekends, and evenings. Sharing of lessons allows for students of similar skill levels to split an hour of training.
