We have 15 kennel suites at The Canine
Ranch. That means that we are small enough to give personalized
attention to each dog. Whether you choose a basic service
package or ask for add-ons such as exercise or exit baths, you can be
assured that your dog will receive devoted attention.
Suites range in size, but all suites have an attached (via doggy door) 8
foot outdoor run area that overlooks the woods and creek.
Basic obedience or hard core behavioral
problems can all be addressed at The Canine Ranch. You'll be
amazed at how well your dog responds to our training methods. As with
all training courses or private lessons, retention is based on how often the
services (training) are repeated. Please call to discuss how
training sessions can benefit your dog.
A one hour lecture for new puppy owners -
learn the fastest way to potty train a young dog. Avoid the
pitfalls most new parents make. And don't forget to teach them
to ring a bell to go to the door! All this and more are
included in the one hour lecture. By appointment only.
Private lessons offer a fast-track to
learning for those that want results geared towards their specific needs. There
are no outside distractions, so your time is focused on learning the skills
you need in the order you need them. Since lessons are
customized to you, and not a group lesson plan, you can focus only on the
obedience or behavioral commands you need. Aggression, crate anxiety, separation anxiety and other
behavioral issues are only
handled by private lessons.
Not many places are dog friendly like The
Canine Ranch - our 4200sf training center is both heated and air
conditioned! Dog clubs, obedience rally, breed gatherings, and seminars are just some
of the uses for our facility. Outside services include an
enclosed agility field, frisbee field, and the swimming pool (see below).
Rates are available hourly or daily, with or without equipment and are
tailored to your group's needs. Email us today to reserve your
dates early!
Currently our grooming services are limited
to exit baths, so that your dog comes home smelling and feeling fantastic
(after running and having a blast in the fresh country air!).
Students and drop-ins are also invited for bathing using our unique washing
service and blow dryer.
Check back soon for full-service grooming as we expand after the Grand
Opening.

With a 115' x 75' enclosed outdoor training area, and a 50' x 50' indoor
training area that has both a/c and heat, we've got all weather situations covered!

Our outdoor training center is a 115' x
75' enclosed horse paddock with welded wire fencing inside the fence rails.
With brand new equipment, and a completely fenced training area, your dog
will be off to a great practice session. Run-throughs
simulate a trial environment and give the dog time to practice like you do
in the ring. See the Calendar for times and dates
each month.
Our
pool is 21' x 41' and features the latest in salt-water filtration system -
easy on your dog's coat! The dock is competition sized,
and features a non-skid outdoor carpeting to provide good traction. Whether you'd like to learn to dock
dive, or would just like to exercise your dog in a safe manner - you can't
go wrong with our swimming center!
Thought about teaching your dog to catch
a flying disc, but haven't had the opportunity or skills? We
have a great field to teach your dog everything from the basics of throwing,
to how to teach advanced disc tricks. It's a great team
sport and we teach using the safest training techniques. Come train
with a disc dog champion!
What about doing some private lessons to
increase your agility skills? If you'd like to learn proper course
technique, how to improve your flow, and body communication - a private lesson
might be just the ticket for you - you're bound to improve your handling when
you focus on your skills in a one on one environment.
